The tires that rolled off the production line this time were Michelin Primacy 5E series products, which have comprehensive advantages such as energy saving, safety and quietness, representing Michelin's continuous innovation in the field of high-performance tires.
This milestone achievement is not only a testament to the Shenyang plant's 30 years of dedication to Chinese manufacturing, but also demonstrates its leading strength as Michelin's largest and most advanced high-end tire manufacturing base in the world.
Since the new Shenyang plant went into operation in 2013, the plant has continuously improved its product portfolio, expanding its main products from 15-inch to 19-inch and above, and gradually covering a variety of product categories; its customer base has expanded from the replacement market to high-end original equipment, and from serving global automakers to deeply empowering China's new energy vehicle industry.
Meanwhile, the plant's flexible manufacturing capabilities have continued to improve, with the number of product specifications increasing fivefold, the minimum order quantity decreasing from 3,000 to 100, and the response time for emergency orders shortened to one day, thus more efficiently meeting market and customer needs.
