In early June 2025, as the dust settled on the N39° stage in Magaiti, Kashgar, the 2025 China Tarmac Rally, one of the most influential and highest-level off-road races in Asia, came to a successful conclusion. This event, known as the "Oriental Dakar", traversed the regions of Aksu, Kashgar, Hotan and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, crossing the Taklimakan Desert, Gobi, and other extreme terrains. It lasted for 13 days, covering over 5,200 kilometers with 10 special stages.
